Yesterday at 7:20am I had the chance to talk with Gary Sadlemeyer and Scott Voorhees on the Good Morning Show at the 1110 KFAB radio station out of Omaha, Nebraska.
On Wednesday night I kept dreaming that I missed their phone call 4 times (!) and then when I realized they had been trying to call I tried to call them back but it was too late and the show was over.
Booooooooo.
Turns out, it all went great. No oversleeping, no missed calls. I had Aaron, my husband, set his alarm early for me (double alarm approach) so I could get up a little earlier than usual and make some coffee, get ready for work, do the interview, and head into work. It’s a little surreal to do a radio interview and then go to your job for the state. Fun but surreal.
Great interview! You made some great points. Hopefully people that hear this will come to your sight because you have so many great tools and posts to give people a better idea of how this all works.
BTW. I make my final credit card payment next Friday! I have been at this for a long time and hit the home stretch and got really serious about it at the beginning of summer. I am so excited. I don't even know what it is going to feel like to be debt free. Thank you for this blog. It got me thru the last part of my goal. What an inspiration you are. And be glad you are doing it early in your marriage and at a younger age.
Hi Lori, I'm so happy for you! To get that last credit card payment out- what an amazing feeling!!!
just listened to the kfab interview! way to go, anna! i grew up near lincoln/omaha and listened to kfab (format was different then). it was so exciting to hear you speak…kind of puts a personality to your words! very fun to hear you state your ideas! my motivation keeps gaining strength with each read here…thanks again to you for sharing your journey! without the motivation gained here from you and others i am quite sure i wouldn't be on the path to becoming debt free! :o) clm
Well written post. thanks for sharing!
