Hey guys! How are you doing? Are you still kicking ass and taking names? I feel like I’m S-L-O-W-L-Y making progress. As a dear friend told me, “Even if you’re moving one millimeter at a time, keep moving forward.”
Since entering this new round, I feel like my debt opponent and I are just dancing around each other in the ring. No one’s really thrown any punches yet. You, my crowd, have been so encouraging. You’ve cheered me on when I wanted to give up and that has meant the world to me. My manager has been in the form of this site and the Facebook group. They offer tough love when needed and give me excellent ideas and suggestions to keep going. I don’t feel as though I’ll get any serious jabs in for a while, but I am wearing him down!
Case in point:
- Credit Cards/Personal: $162.75 (down from $4,998.93)
- Medical: $2,021.18 (down from $4,521.62)
- Student Loans: $24,784.77 (down from $26,000.56)
$477.73! Alright! That might be my lowest month to date, but hey, I’ll take it! I know last month I paid off my car. So that payment will go toward Credit Cards/Personal. At this point, we’re talking minuscule differences in interest. I’d rather just pay off the smaller debt and just be done with it! I can’t wait to see what this month brings–hopefully, one less debt!

Great progress! Thanks for sharing your personal updates. Can’t wait to read how you do next month!
Thank you! I’m excited as well :)
Woooo! I love to see that credit card balance so low. Way to go! It’ll feel great to eliminate, especially after paying off your car. :) I’d say that’s quite a lot of progress.
Thank you! I still feel like I have a ways to go but I’m getting there!
