The Secret to Finding Your Favorite Store’s Best Deals

The Secret to Finding Your Favorite Store's Best Deals | AndThenWeSaved.com

Coupon sites are AMAZING resources for discovering special deals and promo codes when you’re ready to make your purchase. One main drawback is these pages occasionally list expired coupon deals. Some deal sites are extremely efficient with removing old offers, while others feature coupon codes that expired months ago. If you’re only finding old coupon codes for a particular merchant, you should check whether that online store has created their own coupon page.

Some e-commerce websites maintain a deals page. They update it with coupons, discounts and other ways to save money—and sometimes listing information that isn’t found on other coupon sites. Merchants don’t always advertise these pages and oftentimes bury the links in the footer, or only make them visible by using search engines.

To find these pages using Google or Bing, you can utilize a special command called “site.” The syntax normally looks like this: site:domain coupons.

Examples:

  • site:art.com coupons
  • site:walmart.com promo codes
  • site:rei.com coupon code
  • site:allposters.com discounts

Replace “coupons” with either “promo codes,” “coupon code” or “discounts.”

To save you some searching, here’s a list of coupon pages created and maintained by popular online retailers. If you don’t see a particular retailer on this list, use the “site” command above to see if a deals section exists on their website.

I personally use http://www.mypoints.com I find coupon codes on there for many things as well as coupons you can print and use at stores. For each coupon you print and use, you get points. These points add up and you can use them to cash in for gift cards to places like Walmart, Amazon, etc. I use this for a way to make some extra cash to spend on household goods as well as to occasionally treat myself. It is pretty cool to use the coupons because you are saving money and earning points toward more money!
