May’s Collective Savings Totals are In!

September Collective Savings |

It’s that time of the month where we get to see how all the hard work we’ve been doing with the Spending Fast and Spending Diets have been paying off!  We had another great month!  Seriously, I’m constantly blown away!

Are you ready?

In May, we saved an incredible $67,190.48!

That brings our Collective Savings total to $2,597,040.87!  You guys are killing it!  A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!

If you’ve been thinking about getting out of debt but just haven’t taken the leap yet why not do it today? Here’s the link to the Get Out of Debt Pledge. You can absolutely have a debt-free life too!

Also, be sure to log your savings/debt pay off amounts on the Collective Savings page so I can add in hard work and saving successes!

P.S. – If you’re on a Spending Fast or Spending Diet OR if you’re prepping up to do one, join us over on Facebook in the new closed Spending Fasters group if you haven’t done so already! This group is nothing short of amazing and supportive. It’s a super great place to GET and GIVE help around all things spending/saving/debt demolishing.

Not sure I’m inserting this in the right place but here goes. Just finished reading “The Spender’s Guide to Debt-Free Living” and was totally blown away by it’s awesomeness. Wanted to pass along an idea– Anna talks about being on the spending fast when special occasions arise–baby shower, wedding shower, etc. Had a great idea years back when my sister was getting married. For her shower gift I photocopied my 50 favorite recipes (cost 10 cents per copy at the library= $5.00), 3 hole punched the pages and put them into an almost-new binder I wasn’t using. Then I glued an old picture of the 2 of us onto the front of the binder (cost, free) and some other decorations also just lying around the house (cost, free). She said it was one of the best gifts she received, and it cost me only $5.00. Just an idea.
