“Change is such hard work.” -Billy Crystal

Changing what you eat is hard work. Changing your money habits is hard work. Changing any aspect of your life is hard work. But you know what’s harder? Not changing.

What I have been trying to grasp through meditation/mindfulness is that everything always is changing. I can get with the program or try to deny, but can’t escape.

If I approach change more deliberately, I get more control of how my life moves along and ultimately a sense of freedom. And, yes, it is very difficult.

    Hi Anna
I was wondering if you may be able to write a post or refer me to a post about saving or increasing funds for those of us who are at the “middle of the road” point. I have one student loan that I am making monthly payments on (I’m actually about to apply for loan forgiveness since the loan company told me I qualified) and a little over $100 on a credit card. The thing I’m struggling with now is not going hog wild now that I have a little savings and reduced my debt. How do I continue to make progress on the route I’m going and enjoy life a little bit? Any advice for how to get a better grasp on my willpower? (I’m currently hanging onto it with my fingernails!) :) Thank you!
