I’m just gonna go ahead and leave this here. A little something to think about.
Is the grass always greener? Is it possible to have enough? What is it that makes us want more, more, more?

Moving somewhere that you can’t take your “stuff” with you… really eye opening experience as to what we REALLY need, and to be honest I have no desire to replace all of the senseless crap I used to accumulate. Simple living can still be living richly.
i am assuming we are talking about possessions? I have gotten to the point where I want to have less material items but more experiences in life. I think it will make me a much happier person :)
Good question. At this moment in my life I observe my “wants” and see two nice partys, a good doctor to treat my pain, a wellness weekend with my loved one, and motivation to get sewing my fall/winter wardrobe. Ah and a nice job.
What I have stopped wanting in the last years is handbags(I had so much of them..) fast fashion, big living space, perfect furniture/decoration, cosmetics, Mac book/other techy stuff, matching towels, everybody’s approvation, a golden wedding ring (I’ve never even liked gold, we’ll go with silver)..that’s all that comes to my mind, but the biggest ones for me are bags and space :)
Gone are the days when I would endlessly browse at stores in the mall. Now I bring a list & try and get in & out as quickly as possible & only get what I need, and try to avoid the temptations. I’d rather spend my weekends relaxing at home than shopping for hours for more stuff to clutter up my house.
When talking about material things, I have a 2 year old laptop but I want a new laptop which is more faster. :) I’m thinking to get a new one this coming Christmas, but my old laptop is still working very fine so I really can’t decide it yet.
We the people always want more and more, that is in our nature.
I’ve thought a lot about this. Good one.
For Christmas one year, my husband and I each took our favorite (wrappable) possession and wrapped it up a few days before Christmas. I can’t tell you how excited I was to open my iPod and be able to start using it again. One of my favorite presents ever.
