A Giveaway With Shabby Apple! (CLOSED)

This giveaway is now closed…

It’s time for a Giveaway!

Shabby Apple is a woman’s online shop (they also support women’s charities) and they have let me choose an item for one lucky reader to receive!

Having style while being frugal is a constant struggle because no one wants to look too rickety, right?

A couple of things that I think about when it comes to clothes are: is this a versatile item- how much will I be able to wear it and will it go with what I already own?, is this item a “fad” or a “classic”?

When I was looking for the perfect item for the giveaway the above skirt stood out. The Adelaide got the answer “yes” to all of my questions… it’s got the classic color and classic shape that would make it a staple item in my wardrobe, and then that bow goes and gives it a cute twist! I could see myself getting a lot of use out of this one!

A good example of longevity and wear ability is this pair of shoes that I got probably 5 years ago at Payless Shoes for about $20. They are navy peep-toes heels with light pink dots and little poofs on them and any time I need to wear heels they are my go-to! It proves that thinking through clothing purchases pays off in the long-run, and that an item doesn’t necessarily have to be expensive for it to last.

Details: One lucky reader will be picked at random on Wednesday, January 11th at 7pm Mountain time. Also, this giveaway is open to U.S. residents only, and please be sure to leave your email address along with your comment so I can reach the winner.

oooh, I would LOVE to win this. Buying cute clothes is what got me into the mess that requires a spending fast and NOT buying clothes is absolutely the hardest part. Even just 6 days in I literally have to tell myself to take it one day at a time where shopping is concerned. Making everything so easy to buy over the internet do es not help either. Anywho, a free, cute skirt is right up my alley. my email is: jewetsch (at) gmail (dot) com.

    fingers crossed (hard!)!!!
